In part 31 Hannah talks to Lucile in her apartment. Christine is mentioned. In 33 they’re at the theater and Christine is discussed as well 🙂

The shaking of Hannah’s voice at the end got to me. I, not surprisingly, don’t blame her for how she feels about Milly going far away for months without including her in the decision. I also don’t know what happened with Christine in the past (hence dangling on a cliff presently), but I think her delay might be appropriate by the sound of it. It could be too painful or the right time hasn’t come up yet. But, I think it would be best for Hannah and Milly for Milly to get Hannah’s side of the story first.

Here’s a little sound quest:
I had some fun with the very beginning of the first scene. I edited the audio as if it was a movie. Try closing your eyes and see if you can imagine the images that go along with the audio. (I’m talking about the seconds between the very beginning and the moment you hear Patrick talking softly on the left. )

So, I hear the traffic loudly…like I’m either at the window or actually outside. It’s windy too…and I think it’s raining. Then, it seems I’m being pulled into the room (kind of backwards), hearing the presentation softly at first behind me and then I’m pulled even further back so the table and three people are now in front of me with the windows beyond them. In my mind, the table is in front of my point of view with Hannah on my left at the head of the table, and Suzie is on the side of the table closest to me and Patrick is on the other side. The door to exit the room is behind Hannah’s end of the table. And between the scenes, it sounded like the wind/weather was used again for the transition.
🤣🤣🤣 That’s what I saw!!

Hehe, ok, here’s what I saw:
You start on the street level and see the busy city. Then you are pulled up in the air with the city below you, higher and higher. You feel and hear the wind on your way up through the sky until you’re close to the window of an office building. You magically fly through it and land in the middle of the scene with Hannah doodling.

The beginning sounds stood out to me immediately and no matter how tight I shut my 👀’s or turn up the volume on my 🎧 I can’t get rid of what’s all ready stored in my memory for them. I’m gonna go with yours an Annie’s imagination with this one! 😉

In real life it is extremely windy and raining hard here. Tree branches are everywhere. I heard traffic and sirens and wind. It sounded like a truck stopping and starting – a garbage truck even. The music was kind of jazzy or city like. That part I just came up with and is probably out to lunch.

Ok…so, I thought I had missed something about Christine…only, I didn’t. We don’t KNOW yet!!! 😲 I guess I should be grateful that I haven’t spent weeks wondering about it in the back of my mind. 🤣🤣🤣 But, I’m wondering now!!!

Part 4 is the first time we get a hint there is a connection with Christine and Hannah’s family. Maybe Christine should have been the one more open with Milly. Just saying.

I’m glad you said that, cause I was like “WHAT? Something that had that kind of effect on Hannah and I don’t remember it??” So thanks for that, because I was about to go back and relisten those episodes too.
But the frustration and anticipation of not knowing is… Ugh.-
Just an FYI—Sigrid enjoys keeping us in suspense. 🤣🤣🤣
