Just wanted to let you know I’m testing a couple of things on the website 🙂

Behind-the-scenes Blog

• • This Behind-The-Scenes blog will mostly remain as is. It’s accessible for you as a newsletter subscriber, even when you are not logged in, when you go to https://www.lesbianromantic.com/extra.
  • If you want to comment, you have to log in. This protects the website from spam and malicious attacks.

Fellow Romantics Community

More changes here 🙂 You can now follow Fellow Romantics and choose who can see your posts.

• • As more listeners are starting to join the website, I want you to have more privacy options. That’s why I implemented a ‘Follower’ system. Now, you can change your privacy settings so your posts are only shown to people you follow. You don’t have to, of course!

• • Following a Fellow Romantic will not change your community timeline for now. That means you will still see all posts from all Fellow Romantics, even when you do not follow them. Unless that other user has activated the new privacy setting and does not follow you 😉

For example: You log in and see all the updates by the other fellow romantics. However, you have changed your privacy settings to ‘people I follow’ and you only follow one other Fellow Romantic. Only that Fellow Romantic will see your updates when you post something on the timeline. The others will not 🙂

• • It does seem a bit silly and confusing to talk about ‘following’ right now since the timeline is not adjusted based on who you, well, follow. However, I chose this plugin to have the option of an adjusted timeline in the future. I want to make sure the timeline does not get too crowded.
  • Tip: You can start following people now, but not change your privacy settings. This will ensure you see all the updates from your favorite Fellow Romantics if/when the timeline functionality does change. There’s a new directory of Fellow Romantics so you can find people easily!
